CPCCLRG4001A - Licence To Perform Rigging Advanced Level

Nationally Recognised TrainingThis unit specifies the outcomes required to perform rigging work at the advanced level, which includes all the outcomes for rigging work at the basic and intermediate levels, and also includes rigging of gin poles and shear legs, flying foxes and cable ways, guyed derricks and structures, and suspended scaffolds and fabricated hung scaffolds. The work required in this unit relates to the National Standards for Licensing persons performing high risk work.

Pre-requisite Dogging CPCCLDG3001A, Basic Rigging CPCCLRG3001A & Intermediate Rigging CPCCLRG3002A.

  • Cantilevered crane loading platforms
  • Erect span ropes
  • Rigging of gin poles and shear legs
  • Flying foxes and cableways
  • Guyed derrick structures
  • Movement of plant and equipment
  • Work requirements

Course Pre-requisites:

  • You must be 18 years of age or over
  • Read and write English to a basic level
  • Have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the work safely
  • Hold a High Risk License for Dogging (DG), Basic and Intermediate Rigging (RB & RI)

Assessments:

  • Written Assessment
  • Practical Assessment
  • Knowledge Assessment

Duration:

  • 3-5 Days – Dependent on numbers and experience.

Certification:

On successful completion you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and a 60 day interim certificate.  WorkSafe WA will post out your High Risk Work Licence which covers you Australia wide.
