RIIHAN311A – Conduct Operations with Integrated Tool Carrier

Nationally Recognised TrainingThis unit covers the conduct of integrated tool carrier operations in the mining and extraction and civil construction industries.  It includes planning and preparation for work, lifting and moving loads, and carrying out operator maintenance tasks as required. The work described in this unit relates to the National OH&S Certification Standards for the operations of load shifting equipment. (NOH&SC 7019). [Loaders]

  • Start-up and shut-down procedures

Course Pre-requisites:

  • Read and write English to a basic level
  • Have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the work safely  

Assessments:

  • Written Assessment
  • Practical Assessment

Duration:

  • 1 day for training and assessment
  • 3 - 4 hours for experienced operators, assessment only, must supply work history

Certification:

On successful completion you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet sized plastic card stating the unit achieved.
