These units cover conducting water truck operations in the mining and extractive and civil construction industries. They include planning and preparing for operations; operating the truck; loading, hauling and distributing water; and carrying out post-operational procedures.

- Work requirements, safety information and procedures
- Site hazards
- Work requirements and procedure
- Geological and survey interpretation and application
- Operation of bulk water truck, load, haul and distribute water
Course Pre-requisites:
- Have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the work safely
Assessments:
- Written Assessment
- Practical Assessment
Duration:
- Training – Dependent on numbers and experience.
- Assessment - 3 - 4 hours for experienced operators, assessment only, must supply work history.
Certification:
On successful completion you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet sized plastic card stating the unit achieved.
