TLILIC1208A - Licence to Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane

Nationally Recognised TrainingThis unit covers the operation of a vehicle loading crane with a rating of >10 metre/tonne in the resources and infrastructure industries. It includes planning and preparing for crane operations, operating and maintaining the crane, carrying out operator maintenance and cleaning up.  The work required in this unit relates to the National Occupational Health and Safety Certification Standards for Users and Operators of Industrial Equipment (NOHSC:1006).

Course Pre-requisites:

  • You must be 18 years of age or over
  • Read and write English to a basic level
  • Have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the work safely

  • Practical Assessment
  • Written Assignment
  • Knowledge Assessment

Duration:

  • Vehicle Loading Crane courses are run every two weeks as part of a course combining Dogging,
  • Basic Rigging, Non Slewing (CN) Crane and Vehicle Loading Crane. Contact us for details.

Certification:

After successful completion of your course you will be issued with a Worksafe Notice of Assessment which will immediately entitle you to perform work until you receive your card. We also issue a Statement of Attainment stating the unit achieved and process your Worksafe paperwork for you.

NOTE: Vehicle loading cranes of < 10 metre/tonne are duty of care only and do not require a Worksafe qualification. We also offer non-Worksafe courses for smaller units.
